Last month I taught at a local conference that was hosted by
a traditional Christian Ministry (who knew my faith and confessions). To my surprise however, the reception of the
things that I ministered was very warmly received and even inquired into (Q &
A) by the attendees (people whose faith is built on nothing but the NT--as I and many of you were).
I taught on the
path/the way based on Jeremiah 6:16.. “Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the
ways, and see , and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk
therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said , We will not
walk therein”. As a matter of fact a few
who attended that conference latter showed up at our next Sabbath Study (praise
YHVH- Bless HIS name).
You see friends when the word of truth is taken out of context, preached out
of context and taught out of context; or if there's an acceptance of truths
that are misapplied and misappropriated it will produce a belief system that is
based on Out of Context truths...i.e..NT Christianity
If we follow the Living Torah (Yahushua) then we shall know truth (Torah) and the truth of Torah (proper revelation and application) will make us free from religious dogmas and out of context truths.

How can we take the word of truth out of context? Glad you ask..
When you build your belief solely on the Christian New
Testament you’re then subjecting yourself to truths being misapplied and
misappropriated because you are building on a foundation of sand. You see the problem with Christians and those with Christian
background (no offense to anyone for I was once in that fold myself) is that we believe all doctrine starts in
Matthew and ends in Revelation; therefore our beliefs are solely based on the NT.
However, Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 says…
What has been is what will be, what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there something of which it is said, "See, this is new"? It existed already in the ages before us.”.
So if it’s in the NT and it's scripturally sound (not a man made doctrine) then it has to be based on Moses or the Prophets (Torah/Tanach) –for this is all the patriarchs had as a source at that time (not the NT ). As a matter of fact here's a nugget to live by...everywhere in the NT where you see the following phrases/terms then the Torah/Tanach doctrine is being referenced.......for the scripture says...it is written...Moses and the Prophets...Holy Scriptures

When Paul (Shaul) wrote to Timothy he shared a powerful word
in 2 Timothy 3:15 ...
And that from a child
thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto
salvation through faith which is in Yahushua HaMashiach.
Examine what Paul said...the holy scriptures (Torah/Tanach is referenced here because the NT has not been compiled yet) is able to make you wise (give you understanding) of salvation in Yahushua HaMashiach.
Wow! You can actually find salvation in Torah/Tanach if you knew how to look for it. Selah'
Reference Luke 24:27...Yahushua is speaking here...And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. |
Are you able to show people your faith in Yahushua in the Torah/Tanach? Selah'
Nonetheless - Here’s some examples of controversial
NT doctrines/sayings that many will fight you over:
- The worship of Mary
Hm… Answer this yourselves …..where is
this in Torah?…Selah’
- Confessions of the virgin birth of Christ in order to believe
Hm…Answer this yourselves…virgin birth
or not, would that stop you from following HIM, or believing in the One True
GOD? Many ministries think so…Selah’
- Baptism
Hm.. Answer this yourselves …..to
baptize in the name of the father, son and holy spirit, or baptize in Jesus
name only. Which? How?…Selah’
- The worship of the Holy Spirit (ruach ha-kodesh)
Hm…remember the ministry who wrote a
book entitled “Good Morning Holy Spirit”?
Answer this yourselves….Should you pray to the Holy Spirit (ruach
ha-kodesh) or to the One True GOD?…Selah’
I leave you with this question: Whose Report Should You Believe? Torah / Tanach or NT only? That is the question....Selah'
