AMERICANISM, THE DESTRUCTION OF CULTURE

Webster Merriam online defines Americanism as

1:  a characteristic feature of American English especially as contrasted with British English

2:  attachment or allegiance to the traditions, interests, or ideals of the United States

I want to focus on the 2nd definition of Americanism listed above, for it aligns more with the topic of this article.

Since the  2nd definition of Americanism listed above is ' attachment or allegiance to the traditions, interests, or ideals of the United States'; then let's look at how this plays into the Torah Keepers and Northern Kingdom xtianity communities.

Historically and scripturally when a people have been scattered throughout another's kingdom, it causes the scattered to adopt the ways/culture of their captors or that country while omitting and distancing themselves from their own culture. Some has done this to avoid persecution or death so that they could survive and live; while others were deceived by their captors or that country.

How were they deceived?

They were deceived by the same method that the Deceiver used on Havah/Eve in Bereshith/Genesis, and the attempted method against Yahushua in Mattithyahu/Matthew- - Twisting the Scriptures and playing on emotions.

When we as a community or people twist scriptures or misapply scripture to justify our circumstances or our behavior in the land in which we reside - we thusly are breaking the laws and right-rulings of Yahuah according Debarim/Deuteronomy 4:1-2

"And now, O Yisra’ĕl, listen to the laws and the right-rulings which I am teaching you to do, so that you live, and shall go in and possess the land which יהוה Elohim of your fathers is giving you.“Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it, so as to guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim which I am commanding you".

It's all about establishing and maintaining Culture 'Shemot/Exodus 12:1-2

And יהוה spoke to Moshe and to Aharon in the land of Mitsrayim, saying,“This new moon is the beginning of new moons for you, it is the first new moon of the year for you".

What Yahuah stressed from Adam to Abraham to Moshe to Yehoshua to years of captivity through Yahushua HaMashiach is establishment and maintenance of culture. As a matter of fact, culture was so important that Yahuah gave HIS ten words covenant contract along with right-rulings in which HIS people should live by.

Yahuah said in Yermiyahu/Jeremiah 10:2 'learn not the way of the goyim/gentiles'. 

Learn in this scripture has a Hebrew number H3925 which is 'la mad'; to learn, teach, taught and exercise in. Way has a Hebrew number H1870 which is 'derek'; a way, road, distance, journey, manner, direction, habit, of course of life (figuratively)and of moral character (figuratively).

The Nabi Yermiyahu speaking by Yahuah's Ruach is declaring to Yisra’ĕl to not learn the way of their captors. Because as captives they must remember that natural Yerusalem is their home. Likewise,  we as sojourners ( no matter our pigmentation) must remember that New Yerusalem is our home. 

It's unfortunate that many being a part of the House of Yehudah and the House of Yisrael has forgotten who they are; but instead have chosen to assimilate themselves with the way-derek of this system. Yes this system called Americanism.

This system has lulled us to think, live and behave according to its way-derek. We have yet as the House of Yehudah and the House of Yisrael learned to walk in Yahushua HaMashiach command of 'be in the world and not of it'. 

Yes, this system called Americanism ( governed by evil forces and organizations behind-the-scenes) has fooled us via policies, news media, mind control, manipulation and false flags.  How can we say that?

I've had countless conversations with people who claim to be of the House of Yehudah and the House of Yisrael but their conversation and living let's me know they have been Americanized ( fooled by the system).

When we allow Americanism to divide us along the lines of pigmentation, politics and social issues then we have been duped. Thusly, we have forgotten that we are sojourners of the House of Yehudah and the House of Yisrael in America waiting and looking forward to New Yerusalem.

A New Commandment? What?

Some within Christendom uses John 13:34 of the KJV as a justification or excuse for not following the Torah. They feel that "love is the fulfilling of the law" and that there is no need to walk in the Torah.

KJV

Joh 13:33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.

Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

But is this what Yahushua really saying?

 

Firstly we must understand that Yahushua is Mashiach, and a Rabbi with Authority or Smicha (also spelled Smikhah). Smikhah is the authority/anointing to interpret, explain and apply Torah.

 Remember that Yahushua said that He did not come to destroy Torah, but to fulfill it? (Matthew 5:17). To fulfill it is to fill it up to proper interpretation and people of that day knew that this is one of the signs and assignments of HaMashiach. See Matthew Chapter 5-7 were Yahushua was properly applying Torah. After He ended His teaching in Matthew 7, notice how the people responded in verse 28-29....

Mat 7:28 And it came to be, when Yahushua had ended these words, that the people were astonished at His teaching,

Mat 7:29 for He was teaching them as one possessing authority, and not as the scribes

Joh 4:22 "You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because the deliverance is of the Yehuḏim.

Joh 4:23 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him.

 Joh 4:24 "Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth."

 Joh 4:25 The woman said to Him, "I know that Messiah is coming, the One who is called Anointed. When that One comes, He shall announce to us all."

(announce in verse 25 is another way of saying "teach us Torah accurately and with proper interpretation and application")

Secondly we must keep in mind that Yahushua will only speak what YAH is saying, and has already said. See Deut 18:15-18

Deu 18:15 "יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him,

Deu 18:16 according to all you asked of יהוה your Elohim in Ḥorĕḇ in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of יהוה my Elohim, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die.’

Deu 18:17 "And יהוה said to me, ‘What they have spoken is good.

Deu 18:18 ‘I shall raise up for them a Prophet like you out of the midst of their brothers. And I shall put My Words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.

 A closer examination of John/Yohanan 13:34-35 from the KJV in parallel to the ISR

KJV----

Joh 13:34 "A renewed command I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Joh 13:35 "By this shall all know that you are My taught ones, if you have love for one another.

What Yahushua is actually doing is using Smikhah to interpret Leviticus 19:18

Lev 19:18 ‘Do not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the children of your people. And you shall love your neighbour as yourself. I am יהוה.

When comparing Leviticus 19:18 with John 13:33-34, you'll see that by using Smikhah Yahushua applied the phrase "as I have loved you" to an existing Mitzvah/Commandment.

So it's not a new as in a replacement Mitzvah/Commandment- but new as in regenerated and refreshed for the purpose of bringing out proper interpretation and application

Now let's look at the phrase "love is the fulfilling of the law"

KJV

Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

ISR

Rom 13:10 Love does no evil to a neighbour. Therefore, love is completion of the Torah.

This 13th chapter is focusing on how we deal and relate to each other and mankind in general. It is not an endorsement to remove Torah keeping; but to highlight a portion of the Ten Words in Exodus/Shemot 20; specifically, our love toward each other. See Romans 13:8-9

Rom 13:8 Owe no one any matter except to love one another, for he who loves another has filled the Torah.

Rom 13:9 For this, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other command, is summed up in this word, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself."

So when applying the Covenant appropriately - causes us to live and love appropriately

The Processes of Becoming

Within the Torah Keeping Messiah believing community there’s a false witness portrayal of maturity that deceives those who are new in turning to Mashiach.

When a new believer seeks out Torah, they are faced with Torah people who appear to be so mature that the new believer tries to cram the Torah within their spirit.

But the Torah life is a process.

We must teach the new believer the processes that are patterned within Torah.

Initially, physically remove yourself from anti-Torah worship.  In other words, when you Hear Yah – Respond!

• When Yahuah created Adam he placed him in another place opposite of his creation - (the Garden) East of Eden.

Genesis/Bereshith 2: 8 And יהוה Elohim planted a garden in Ěḏen, to the east, and there He put the man whom He had formed.

• When Abram was called by Yah, Abram left his Father’s house.

Gen/Bereshith 12: 1-4 And יהוה said to Aḇram, “Go yourself out of your land, from your relatives and from your father’s house, to a land which I show you.  “And I shall make you a great nation, and bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing!  “And I shall bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you. And in you all the clans of the earth shall be blessed.”  So Aḇram left, as יהוה had commanded him, and Lot went with him. And Aḇram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Ḥaran.

• When Moshe was called by Yah, he left what he was doing.

Exodus/Shemot 3:4 And יהוה saw that he turned aside to see, and Elohim called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Mosheh! Mosheh!” And he said, “Here I am.”

• Israel left Mizraim as instructed by Yah.

Exodus/Shemot 3:8 And I have come down to deliver them from the hand of the Mitsrites, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Kena‛anites and the Ḥittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Ḥiwwites and the Yeḇusites.

Also, by physically removing yourself- is symbolic of leaving Sunday for Sabbath.  Sunday is not only unscriptural, but it has never been labeled as a covenant sign; but Sabbath has.

Exodus/Shemot 31:12-18 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,

“And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, יהוה, am setting you apart.

‘And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people.

‘Six days work is done, and on the seventh is a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to יהוה. Everyone doing work on the Sabbath day shall certainly be put to death.

‘And the children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant.

‘Between Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”

And when He had ended speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Mosheh two tablets of the Witness, tablets of stone, written with the finger of Elohim.

Secondly, Follow Kosher and Learn Torah as you go.

Torah is cyclic.  It’s designed that way to train us at this time for a future time. We as humans learn from repetitiveness. 

Acts/Ma aseh 15:13-21 And after they were silent, Ya‛aqoḇ answered, saying, “Men, brothers, listen to me: “Shim‛on has declared how Elohim first visited the gentiles to take out of them a people for His Name.

And the words of the prophets agree with this, as it has been written:

After this I shall return and rebuild the Booth of Dawiḏ which has fallen down. And I shall rebuild its ruins, and I shall set it up, so that the remnant of mankind shall seek יהוה, even all the gentiles on whom My Name has been called, says יהוה who is doing all this, ‘who has made this known from of old. “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the gentiles who are turning to Elohim, but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood. For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath.”

One of the first groups the council of elders in Jerusalem advised on were the nations who were coming into the faith.  The Elders advice focused on the immediate things of Kosher and Morality. It also included learning the Torah as they go….. “Moshe has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath.”  

So in the process of becoming – first things first:
