Mashiach's Purpose, Call and Teachings

Hebrews 13:8….  Yahushua Messiah is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
Some people look at this text and believe it is talking about his power.  But , it’s  talking about his purpose and personage!

the same. Greek word. ho autos. This is the translated in the Septuagint of the Hebrew 'attah hu, . the same, was, is,
Psa_102:27…. “But You are the same, And Your years have no end.

Mal_3:6. … “For I am יהוה, I shall not change, and you, O sons of Yaʽaqoḇ, shall not come to an end.

Number 23:19….“For I am יהוה, I shall not change, and you, O sons of Yaʽaqoḇ, shall not come to an end.
If this messiah who some call Jesus has changed the order of Yah, then he has become a fraud.

If he’s the same, then his purpose does not change the order of Yah.
Now, to understand his purpose:

1.       we must understand his assignment

2.       we must understand his message

3.       we must understand his actions
All three (3) must line up and agree in order for him to be the same: his assignment, message and action must be the same throughout the context of scripture.

When we see these three (3) things (assignment, message, actions) in Mashiach, then we are seeing the Father’s heart/will being revealed in Mashiach’s purpose.

(Yochanan 5:43-ISR)  “I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive.
(Yochanan 5:43-OJB)  I have come b'Shem Avi and you do not accept me. If another comes in his own name, him you will accept.

In vs43 - Name has the Greek #3686 word "onoma" which means authority/character and name. When passing that word through the Hebrew, it is the word "Shem"
Therefore the Mashiach has to walk in the authority/character of the Father, and have in his name the Father’s name.

What Yahushua said himself “I have come in My Father’s Name" automatically dissolves the Replacement Mindset that Christians carry --- that the Messiah came in another name (Jesus) to teach something totally different from what the Father has already said.
So that leads to this question: What is the Father's name? We all can do a little historical fact research via online historical documents, Encyclopedias, Hebrew Dictionaries and Concordances to find that translators of the scriptures (over 7000 times) replaced the Father's name with a title---that's factual.  That's why in most English writings we see the title GOD or LORD. Nonetheless in your research you will discover the Hebrew tetragrammaton Y (Yod)  H (Hay)  U (Uau)/[Waw]  H (Hay) -  when placed together YHUH, phonetically pronounced as Yah-hoo-ah (Yahuah).

In the same online historical documents, you will discover that the letter "J" is 500-600 years old; and since Mashiach lived at least 2000 years ago then his name is not Jesus. According to the Greek #3686 word "onoma" which means authority/character and name, then the name of the Mashiach must contain the Father's name.
The Replacement Mindset person refuses to use the Israelite/Hebrew name of the Mashiach because it would force them to acknowledge Yahuah as Father, Yahushua as Mashiach, which would make the Torah/instructions valid.

When we look at the witness of Torah regarding Mashiach Yahushua, then we must look at what Moshe said about Mashiach.
(Debarim 18:15-ISR)  יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Navi/Prophet like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him,

(Debarim18:16-ISR)  according to all you asked of יהוה your Elohim in Ḥorĕḇ in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of יהוה my Elohim, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die.’
(Debarim 18:17-ISR)  “And יהוה said to me, ‘What they have spoken is good.

(Debarim 18:18-ISR)  ‘I shall raise up for them a Navi/Prophet like you out of the midst of their brothers. And I shall put My Words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.
There's several things in this text that Moshe is saying:

·                    The Navi will be like Moshe -  who was an Israelite and Torah giver

·                    This Navi does as Moshe did - receive the Torah/Instructions directly from Yahuah
For a second time - this automatically dissolves the Replacement Mindset that Christians carry --- that the Messiah came to teach something totally different other than what he received of the Father.

(Yochanan 5:44-ISR)  “How are you able to believe, when you are receiving esteem from one another, and the esteem that is from the only Elohim you do not seek?
(Yochanan 5:45-ISR)  “Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Mosheh, in whom you have set your expectation.
(Yochanan 5:46-ISR)  “For if you believed Mosheh, you would have believed Me, since he wrote about Me.
(Yochanan 5:47-ISR)  “But if you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe My words?”

What is Mashiach saying here?
Firstly in v44 - in modern terms- Mashiach is saying that we can't fully embrace HIM for who HE is and what HIS Purpose is; because we are so busy esteeming ourselves.

How can he say that?  In general Christians get more benefit out of having the Replacement Mindset because it feeds the emotions or itching ears (the going to church, Sunday gatherings, we have grace, the blood and the cross)  these are feel good distorted justifications of scripture on why you should follow a different path/way other than the Torah path that is already laid.
Secondly in vs45-47: Mashiach is addressing the works that Torah Keepers get joy/simchah out of by simply doing the outward works of Torah instead of walking in the goal of Torah which is Mashiach.  A clear sign that you don't believe what Moshe said about the Mashiach - is that you are not believing/walking in the emunah (belief and trust) in the words of Mashiach properly.

(Yochanan 5:43-ISR)  “I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive.
Yahushua here is addressing the Replacement Mindset when he said another coming in his own name. When we accept a vessel or a teaching that is different from what was spoken of/by Moshe, then we are accepting the anti-Mashiach message -HOW? Because the anti-Mashiach comes in his own name instead of the name of the FATHER YHUH - Amein!

Now, according to (Debarim 18:15-18-ISR):

·                    The Navi/prophet will be like Moshe -  who was an Israelite and Torah giver

·                    This Navi does as Moshe did - receive the Torah/Instructions directly from Yahuah

Here's a note to ponder to assist in understanding scripture:  Watch the Written Word Narrative --  You then will Discover a Pattern  --  After you discover the Pattern, Purpose will be Revealed

(Isa 46:10-ISR)  declaring the end from the beginning, and from of old that which has not yet been done, saying, ‘My counsel does stand, and all My delight I do,’…..Amein!
(Yochanan 6:38-ISR)  “Because I have come down out of the heaven, not to do My own desire, but the desire of Him who sent Me.

Yahushua as the living Torah uses the Figure of Speech "I have come down" to point us to how the Torah was given - it came down from above!
The word "desire" is equal to the word "will".  Will or Desire is derived from the Greek #2307 word "thelema".  Which means  to wish  or  desire , and is the emotional element which leads to the consequent action

The Replacement Mindset that Christians carry is that the Messiah came to teach something totally different other than what he received of the Father.
(Isa 55:11) so is My Word that goes forth from My mouth – it does not return to Me empty, but shall do what I please, and shall certainly accomplish what I sent it for.

(Deu 8:3)  “And He humbled you, and let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, to make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of יהוה
Did not Mashiach quote this in Mt. 4:4 and in Lk. 4:4?...se’lah

(Luk 24:25)  And He said to them, “O thoughtless ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
(Luk 24:26)  “Was it not necessary for the Messiah to suffer these and to enter into His esteem?”

(Luk 24:27)  And beginning at Moshe and all the Prophets/Navi'im, He was explaining to them in all the Scriptures the matters concerning Himself.
Why Did Yahushua begin at Moshe?  Because Moshe/Torah/Law is the foundation whereby every instruction/direction is built upon.  A Prophet/Navi cannot be of Elohim without the Moshe/Torah Foundation.  The Torah is where we get our Emunah/Belief/Faith from.

(Rom 10:17)  So then belief comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Elohim.

A nugget to ponder: if your belief/faith comes by hearing the word of Elohim; then where in the word of Elohim does it say that Messiah came to do or establish Christianity

What Yochanan says about Mashiach/Messiah
(Joh 3:32)  “And what He has seen and heard, that He witnesses. And no one receives His witness.
(Joh 3:33)  “He who receives His witness has set his seal that Elohim is true.
(Joh 3:34)  “For He whom Elohim has sent speaks the Words of Elohim, for Elohim does not give the Spirit by measure.

Words of Yahushua around Succot about the Origin of His Teaching
(Joh 7:16)  יהושע answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me.
(Joh 7:17)  “If anyone desires to do His desire, he shall know concerning the teaching, whether it is from Elohim, or whether I speak from Myself.
(Joh 7:18)  “He who speaks from himself is seeking his own esteem, but He who seeks the esteem of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

Yahushua says He did not teach a new religion
(Joh 8:28)  So יהושע said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Aḏam, then you shall know that I am He, and that I do none at all of Myself, but as My Father taught Me, these words I speak.

(Joh 8:47)  “He who is of Elohim hears the Words of Elohim, therefore you do not hear because you are not of Elohim.”

(Joh 14:10)  “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak from Myself. But the Father who stays in Me does His works.

(Joh 14:24)  “He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.

(Joh 17:8)  “Because the Words which You gave to Me, I have given to them. And they have received them, and have truly known that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.

(Joh 17:14)  “I have given them Your Word, and the world hated them because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world..

More references to the Fathers name:

Shemoth (Exodus) 3:14

And Elohim said to Mosheh, “I am that which I am.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘I am has sent me to you.

For I am that I am-----The Hebrew text reads: ’eyeh ’asher ’eyeh, the word ’eyeh being derived from hayah which means to be, to exist

Yah is telling Moshe and us that HE is the ALL Accomplished One.

Shemoth(Exodus) 3:15
And Elohim said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Yisra’ĕl, Yahuah Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Yaʽaqob, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations.

***remembrance is another word for memorial
So the NAME of Yahuah is our Creator/Father's memorial. Here's what the word “memorial” means in Hebrew per Shemoth(Exodus) 3:15 text.

It comes from the Hebrew number H2143 which is assigned to the word "zeker" which means:

Brown Driver Briggs Hebrew Definition:

1) memorial, remembrance. 1a) remembrance, memory. 1b) memorial Part of Speech: noun
masculine

Strongs Hebrew Definition:

From H2142; a memento, abstractly recollection (rarely if ever); by implication commemoration:
- memorial, memory, remembrance, scent.

Hos 2:16-ISR  “And it shall be, in that day,” declares יהוה, “that you call Me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer call Me ‘My Baʽal.’ or My Master
Hos 2:17-ISR  “And I shall remove the names of the Baʽals from her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

Ba'al or Baalim = has a Hebrew #1168 word "Ba'al" which is a Phoenician/Canaanite deity.  When translated in English it means Lord.
So in essence Yah is saying that HE shall remove that word "Ba'al" or Lord  from our mouth.
