He Has Become, So Let Us Be!

As we approach Passover and First Fruits let us make preparations to share our Faith in alignment with the biblical evidence that our Messiah also kept Passover and First Fruits; and those early followers of Yahushua (Yeshua) did the same.

It is not Easter, which is named after the pagan goddess Ishtar/Astarte/Eostre, (which has to do with the fertility festival involving rabbits) and looking to the east in early mornings as pagans did (like many do today with sunrise service).

Many know in order for Yahushua (Yeshua, or some call him Jesus, Christ, Our Savior etc…) to be the Messiah he had to fulfill scripture.  But fulfilling scripture also means that he had to walk in Torah truthfully and whole heartedly; and no one who followed Torah truthfully and whole heartedly continues in or practice paganism.

Many are saying Happy Resurrection Day as a substitute to Happy Easter.  But saying Happy Resurrection still clouds the fact that Yahushua (Yeshua) was a keeper of Torah in every way, down to the Feasts.

(a side note of insertion that may offend some, but all know----The Messiah did not come to establish Christianity nor did he practiced it, nor the apostles or early disciples practiced Christianity----Christianity is a religion)

I thank YHVH that Yahushua (Yeshua) has become our Passover and First Fruits according to
1st Corinthians 5:7 and 15:20,23---not Easter/Ishtar

Let's us examine ourselves to see if we be in the Faith!

They are alive and well – Humanism, Asceticism and Gnosticism

The scripture teaches in Ecclesiastes 1:9 “What has been is what will be, what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun” (CJB).    In other words, life is a cycle!  Even non-believers often say “History repeats itself”.  It is amazing that our old patriarchs understood life and how it works.

I reflect back to the assembly of Colossae where Emissary Shaul (Apostle Paul) addressed various doctrines and groups that were persuading believers to stop following the living Torah (Yahushua).  Why am I reflecting on this; because it reminds me of our current religious system?

This assembly had Humanism, Asceticism and Gnosticism; just as we do today.  We have a mixture of replacement doctrines that put emphasis on self-fulfillment and attainment (prosperity gospel), worship of objects and images (crosses, angels, books, banners and buildings), spiritual enlightenment and experiences (worshipping the Ruach Hakodesh-Holy Spirit, Pentecostal experiences).

All these things are replacement doctrines and practices that take away from keeping the Torah and following Yahushua the Messiah; this is what Emissary Shaul (Apostle Paul) wanted the Colossians to understand.

Now let’s look at these:

Humanism ---aren’t we today accepting more and more individual thoughts, lifestyles and practices in place of living up to YHVH standards according to Torah?

Asceticism ---don’t we have many groups who feel if you fast, speak in tongues, don’t do this or don’t do that then you are SAVED?

Gnosticism ---don’t we have doctrines and groups that promote spiritual enlightenment and experiences (described by the words of deep, depth, secret place, higher realm etc...)?

Again--All these things are replacement doctrines and practices that take away from keeping the Torah and following Yahushua the Messiah.

Colossians 2:23--- “They do indeed have the outward appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed religious observances, false humility and asceticism; but they have no value at all in restraining people from indulging their old nature” CJB

Notice the last part of vs 23---- “but they have no value at all in restraining people from indulging their old nature”.  It is only in HIM (accepting and living) and by HIM (who HE is and what HE has done) can the old nature die.

I leave you with this:  You can practice your Faith in religion; or You can live your Faith in HIM--the choice is yours!

Living The Torah

Matthew 4 is where we see the adversary tempting Yeshua in the wilderness.  This is an event that most of us have read or taught before.  However, what strikes me as fascinating in this event is how stable and grounded Yeshua is in Torah during his reply to the tempter in all three scenarios.

The Tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, order these stones to become bread.”  Yeshua replied---Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of Adonai

On the second scenario the tempter actually quoted Psalm 91 He will order his angels to be responsible for you. . . .They will support you with their hands, so that you will not hurt your feet on the stones.  Yeshua replied---‘Do not put Adonai your God to the test.

Finally the tempter wanted Yeshua to worship him; but Yeshua replied---Worship Adonai your God, and serve only him.

What really got Yeshua through this ordeal is being filled with the spirit of Torah in his inward parts.  This is something that all of us must have!

Psalms 119:11 says--- Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

I wonder at times have we really hid the Torah in our hearts.  A place where our private thoughts are sinful and out of sight from those around us.  A place where sin is committed and no one knows or sees.  It's different from the outward sins of lies, adultery, fornication etc... these can be seen with the naked eye.

Yeshua being so deeply rooted in Torah, did not allow thoughts of breaking his fast, or using his position to sin or to become arrogant; nor having the thought of rebellion against YHVH---none of these things actually entered his heart.  Yeshua was stable in all His ways!

Hide the Torah in your heart - your secret place, so that when the tempter comes what comes out of you is not an act of sin, but the TORAH asYeshua did.

Shalom and Blessings

That You May Know

As many of us who have transitioned or in the process of transitioning to the True foundation Faith based on Torah and our Messiah Yeshua; we begin using proper Hebraic terms and definitions.  We also begin honoring Sabbath instead of Sundays, and also Feasts Days.

However, for those who are sincere about the transition (or transformation may be the better word) must also look at the entire process and be willing to be truthful to Torah and of course themselves also.

The following is not an indictment on all who love Yeshua (Jesus) with their whole heart, but worship HIM ignorantly (for we all have been down that road).  But again, if you are sincere about your transformation then you will humble yourself (as all of us must) and continue in Yeshua.

From Hell Fact or Fable.com

The word “church” found in most (not all) Bibles is translated from the Greek word “ekklesia,” and it means “called out ones.” The word “church” is defined in most dictionaries as: “A building for public worship, especially Christian worship; the company of all Christians as a spiritual body.” This, however, tells us nothing concerning the origin of this word and its original definition, meaning, and usage. Some theologians have erroneously stated that the word church comes from the Greek “kyrios” which means “lord,” and thus “church” is those who belong to the Lord, or references the “Lord’s house.” This is not, however, the origin or original meaning of the word “church.”
“Church” is a very early English word that means “circle” (the shape of a circle), while the Greek word translated “church” is “ekklesia” and means “called out ones,” and more properly answers to the English words: congregation, assembly or group.
In Acts 19:32 ekklesia refers to a riotous mob. And ekklesia is never applied to a building for worship. Furthermore, there can be only one “Lord’s House,” and that was the temple in Jerusalem, only. Local congregations and synagogues or assembly halls were never designated “The Lord’s House.”
“Bethel” is the word for “Lord’s House” in Hebrew. Yet, this “Lord’s House” became an abomination to the Lord, along with all other such “Lord’s houses.”

“For the saying that he cried by the word of the Lord against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass… Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places… And this thing became SIN unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth” (I Kings 13:32-34).
And so, in rebelling to God’s commands, “Bethels” were built throughout the land. And just as Israel continually looked to the heathen for their religious practices (see Jeremiah 10:1-5, for example), so did the heathens borrow from Israel. These “Bethels” or “houses of the Lord” became popular among the heathens. Bethels were being built throughout Europe, West Asia, and North Africa. They usually used the Greek spelling “baetyls,” but they were the same high, religious places of worship, which God condemned. So even if a “Bethel” was a “house of the Lord,” it was still condemned by God. Here are the historical facts regarding the word “Bethel” [From the Dictionary of Proper Names and Places in the Bible, by O. Odelain and R. Seguineau, Doubleday & Company, 1981]:
The word Bethel literally means “House of God,” and was the name of a town about 17 km north of Jerusalem on the road to Shechem. Bethel was also the name of a Canaanite deity venerated at Bethel. In the ancient world Bethel is one of the camping places of Abraham and Jacob. From there Abraham sees the land God is giving him. It is also here where the dream of “Jacob’s ladder” occurs, and where God later appears to Jacob. Thus Bethel becomes a sanctuary of the patriarchs. Along with Ai, it is one of the first towns conquered by Joshua. Later, in the ninth century the town is the residence of a brotherhood of prophets centered around Elijah and Elisha. It also becomes for the Northern Kingdom the national center of worship, with its golden calf, “the sin of Jeroboam.” Amos pronounces God’s judgment upon this cult (Amos 3:13-15; 5:4-7), and is expelled from Bethel by the priest Amaziah. Hosea waxes ironical about Bethel, the “House of God,” that it has become Beth-aven (Hosea 5:8; 10:5), which means “the house of nothingness (or iniquity).” Josiah’s religious reform affects Bethel, where these altars and high places are destroyed (see II Kings 23:15-20).

Now concerning the word “church,” Professor Smith of Smith’s Dictionary of the Bible states that “church” comes from a word meaning “circle,” which is akin to our word “circus.” Professor Lipsius (German theologian during the Reformation) also shows that “church” came from “circle.” Professor A. F. Fausett of Home Bible Study Dictionary” agrees with Professor Lipsius. The exhaustive ten volume Cyclopaedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature under the word “church” states that:
“It was probably connected with the Latin circus, circulus, and with the Greek kuklos. Lipsius, who was the first to reject the received tradition, was probably right in his suggestion” (Vol. II, p. 322).
Robert Brown’s work The Myth of Kirke” also confirms that “kirke” (church) means “Circle” or “Circular” (p. 22).
Dictionary of Phrase and Fable, under the entry “church” adds this:
“The etymology of this word is generally assumed to be from the Greek, kurious oikos (house of God); but this is most improbable, as the word existed in all the Celtic dialects long before the introduction of the Greek. No doubt the word means ‘a circle.’ The places of worship among the German and Celtic nations were always circular [witness circular Stonehenge, one of the most ancient stone megaliths on earth]. Compare Anglo-Saxon ‘circe,’ a small church, with ‘circol,’ a circle.”
In Scotland it is called “Kirk” and in Gemany it is “Kirche,” in England it is the word “Circe” (the “c” having a “k” sound).
But according to Brown’s book, “Kirke/Circe” was also the name of a Goddess.
Kirke or Circe was the daughter of the Sun god, who was famous for taming wild animals for her circus. But get ready for this: Circe is pictured holding a golden cup in her hand mixed with wine and drugs, by which she controlled the kings of the world. Now where have we heard that before?

“And the woman [always the symbol for a church/kirke] was arrayed in purple and scarlet color [these colors symbolize wealth and high position], and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication” (Revelation 17:4).
What else are we told is in the golden cup of this church?

“…the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication” (Verse 2).
But there is something else. Remember that Brown above also mentions drugs along with wine. Is our lady church of Revelation 17:4-5 “MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” also involved in DRUGS?
Notice what Revelation 18:23 lists among her many abominations:

“…for the merchants were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all nations deceived.”

Are you a Godly Man? If so, what or where are you Drinking?

In Hebrew there are approximately 145 definition combinations for the word man that is used in scripture.

One word in particular is "Geber".  In Strong's Concordance it has a root word definition meaning of " a valiant man or warrior, or in essence a mighty man.  Which is similarly to the Hebrew word "gibor" defined as to "excel".

Another Hebrew word "Gever" comes from the same root word "Gavar", defines as "to overcome or conquer"So a true man is one that overcomes!  But the question is:  To overcome what?

To overcome the evil inclination!

The desire for humankind to follow their physical passions above the will of GOD are submitting to their evil inclinations.

Proverbs 5:15-18 reads

15. Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.

Cistern in this text refers to a woman and waters  to joy and love, Well is akin to cistern (woman)

Verse meaning-----it is the will of GOD for a man to devoted and espoused to one woman

16. Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad and rivers of waters in the streets.

Fountains refers to children, Rivers of Waters refers to let these children bring you joy

Verse meaning----- children from this union should bring you joy.

17. Let them be only thine won and not strangers with thee.

Verse meaning-----you should only have children from this union and not from various relationships in which there were no union.

18. Let thy fountain be blessed and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

Fountains refers to children

Verse meaning-----children from this union should be blessed and you should rejoice with your own wife.

So I ask the questions:  Are you a Godly Man? If so, what or where are you Drinking?

Whose Report Should You Believe

Last month I taught at a local conference that was hosted by a traditional Christian Ministry (who knew my faith and confessions).  To my surprise however, the reception of the things that I ministered was very warmly received and even inquired into (Q & A) by the attendees (people whose faith is built on nothing but the NT--as I and many of you were).

I taught on the path/the way based on Jeremiah 6:16.. “Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see , and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said , We will not walk therein”.  As a matter of fact a few who attended that conference latter showed up at our next Sabbath Study (praise YHVH- Bless HIS name).

You see friends when the word of truth is taken out of context, preached out of context and taught out of context; or if there's an acceptance of truths that are misapplied and misappropriated it will produce a belief system that is based on Out of Context truths...i.e..NT Christianity

If we follow the Living Torah (Yahushua) then we shall know truth (Torah) and the truth of Torah (proper revelation and application) will make us free from religious dogmas and out of context truths.

How can we take the word of truth out of context?  Glad you ask..

When you build your belief solely on the Christian New Testament you’re then subjecting yourself to truths being misapplied and misappropriated because you are building on a foundation of sand. You see the problem with Christians and those with Christian background (no offense to anyone for I was once in that fold myself) is that we believe all doctrine starts in Matthew and ends in Revelation; therefore our beliefs are solely based on the NT. However, Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 says…

What has been is what will be, what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there something of which it is said, "See, this is new"? It existed already in the ages before us.”.

So if it’s in the NT and it's scripturally sound (not a man made doctrine) then it has to be based on Moses or the Prophets (Torah/Tanach) –for this is all the patriarchs had as a source at that time (not the NT ).  As a matter of fact here's a nugget to live by...everywhere in the NT where you see the following phrases/terms then the Torah/Tanach doctrine is being referenced.......for the scripture says...it is written...Moses and the Prophets...Holy Scriptures

When Paul (Shaul) wrote to Timothy he shared a powerful word in 2 Timothy 3:15 ...

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Yahushua HaMashiach.

Examine what Paul said...the holy scriptures (Torah/Tanach is referenced here because the NT has not been compiled yet) is able to make you wise (give you understanding) of salvation in Yahushua HaMashiach.

Wow!  You can actually find salvation in Torah/Tanach if you knew how to look for it.  Selah'

Reference Luke 24:27...Yahushua is speaking here...And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Are you able to show people your faith in Yahushua in the Torah/Tanach?  Selah'

Nonetheless - Here’s some examples of controversial NT doctrines/sayings that many will fight you over:

  • The worship of Mary

Hm… Answer this yourselves …..where is this in Torah?Selah’

  • Confessions of the virgin birth of Christ in order to believe

Hm…Answer this yourselves…virgin birth or not, would that stop you from following HIM, or believing in the One True GOD?  Many ministries think so…Selah’

  • Baptism

Hm.. Answer this yourselves …..to baptize in the name of the father, son and holy spirit, or baptize in Jesus name only.  Which?  How?Selah’

  • The worship of the Holy Spirit (ruach ha-kodesh)

Hm…remember the ministry who wrote a book entitled “Good Morning Holy Spirit”?  Answer this yourselves….Should you pray to the Holy Spirit (ruach ha-kodesh) or to the One True GOD?Selah’

I leave you with this question:  Whose Report Should You Believe?  Torah / Tanach or NT only?  That is the question....Selah'

Modern Day Deception-The Constantinal Society

Mark 13:1-6  “And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And Yahushua answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Yahushua answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Messiah; and shall deceive many”.

We live and worship in a Constantinal society that has placed emphasis on religious public buildings that is similar to the Temple worship in the days of biblical Judaism. However, within these modern day Christendom buildings is a display of open and outward religious worship that appeals more to the individual from an entertainment standpoint, and less toward the worship of the One True GOD.

It is because of this Constantinal society that public religious buildings are freely and openly embraced. Actually, it is expected of any ministry to have a public religious building for worship.  However, true worship is more individualistic instead of public.  It is a life devoted to the study of Torah with an outward expression of obedience to Torah as expressed by our Messiah Yahushua who expressly taught us how to walk out Torah......Selah’

Nonetheless, many within the public religious buildings who are connected/partnered/deceived by this Constantinal society are thrust into accepting the Constantinal society doctrine.  One extension of this doctrine in particular is that of a “mixture of acceptance” regardless of what Torah says.  Here’s an example:

Leviticus 18:22  “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination”

This text explicitly teaches against male humankind lying with male humankind as they would with female humankind.  However within the modern day Constantinal society doctrine of a “mixture of acceptance”  ministries within the public religious buildings are embracing this lifestyle as OK.  Why? Because they have already accepted adultery, fathering children out of wedlock, overseers committing fraud, open relationships within the congregation and a host of sinful acts that are contrary to Torah, but yet embraced and tolerated by the Constantinal society.

You see one of the side effects of religious public buildings is the “mixture of acceptance” which takes away the personal responsibility of having your life devoted to the study of Torah with an outward expression of obedience to Torah as expressed by how our Messiah Yahushua who walked out Torah (halacha) correctly.  This “mixture of acceptance” via public religious buildings nullifies the requirement of “walking in HIS footsteps”

In Mark 13:1-6 mentioned above – the disciples were showing off to Yahushua on how beautiful the Temple was (which we still do today with our modern architectural church buildings).  But as in A.D.70 when the Temple was destroyed so too shall our buildings be destroyed.  It is has become like biblical Judaism -the building has become the object of worship and not HIM!

-- Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Yahushua answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Messiah; and shall deceive many”.

And just like the biblical days we have false men and false women (anti-messiahs) who make claims of being anointed, chosen, elected and handpicked as the one that GOD has chosen for this day and hour!

Mark 13:5b…” Take heed lest any man deceive you”

Deceive in this text means to “ lead you away from truth, i.e. the living Torah Yahushua and how HE showed us how to walked out Torah”

If you are a part of the Modern Day Deception-The Constantinal Society “mixture of acceptance” I pray that you come out for Isaiah 52:11 says "Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of Yehovah"

 Shalom
