Straightening out the Confusion and Lies

There are many splinters of every social movement, political party and religion. And unfortunately the zealot splinters of these movements seems to get most of the press or publicity.  That within itself causes those who are honest, sincere and proper within these movements to get lumped in or labeled with the zealot splinters.

The same is within those who choose to follow Torah.  Immediately confusion, lies and labeling comes to the forefront when people hear Torah, Sabbath and Feasts. People automatically assume that one is believing in works salvation apart from the TRUTH. 

Yes, there are those who are 100% Torah that says no TV, Radio, daily dress like biblical characters, and do not hold a job.  They try to keep the rabbinical Torah and are zealots.  They live off the grid; or they sentence all to Hell or having no merit in the afterlife.

But on the other hand; there are those who are Messianic Torah believers.  They also believe in the Torah, Sabbath and Feasts.  But their belief and practices are more aligned with how Messiah taught the Torah.  They have more of a trusting belief that what YAH says is true and they live accordingly while also following the kosher laws as humanly possible.  Why? Because Messiah was kosher, and so were the earliest believers.

Messianic Torah believers are a happy, loving people who believes in Messiah Yeshua and lives and teaches the Torah based on Messiah.

Did you know that the verse 2 Timothy 2:15  “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth ” that it actually refers to studying Torah? 

 

And 2 Timothy 3:14-17 “But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned [them]; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Yeshua. All scripture [is] given by inspiration of Elohim, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of Elohim may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works"……….also refers to the study of Torah and the Tanakh (Old Testament) and through it you are able to come into knowledge of the Messiah Yeshua and salvation. 

When Paul wrote this letter to Timothy the “New Covenant writings” aka New Testament weren’t authorized cannon. So the only scripture the prophets and apostles had were the Torah and Tanakh, and in them they saw Yeshua and salvation.  Remember the two disciples walking to Emmaus (Luke 24:13)?  What did Yeshua speak to them in Luke 24:27   “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself”.    

So if you have been struggling with the FAITH, then know that the Messiah and salvation is written in the Torah and the Tanakh (Old Testament)…2 Timothy 3:15 which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in the Messiah Yeshua.   John 5:39c....and they are they which testify of me.

So instead of lumping all into the same pot, let us discern –

Every biblical zealot draws people away from Messiah, have their own agenda and twists the truth

Messianic Torah believers point people to Messiah, are open and pliable; and displays the love of Messiah
